The Japanese revealed some details of its concept Infiniti QX80 Monograph
Motor show new York accidentally became the place of display of concept Infiniti QX80 Monograph, because the New light has always been distinguished by pathological craving for great cars. All were in anticipation of the "new generation", but it was a little different – the Japanese showed their intent and the main stylistic decisions.
I must admit that the production model is from Infiniti is rarely different from the concepts that this case is very good. A while we content with what we have. For example, head optics, which went well, very attractive. Full-led headlights, with the"keys" of modules, each of which the way, can glow in separately. The top line of lights stretches almost up to the front door.
The grille got a little relief in contrast usual Infiniti vague shape. In addition, the designers decided that visually the car is not wide enough, because of full width front bumper stretched aluminum insert, integrated into her the edges thin as a knife blade, fog lights. The front wheel arches over large and different lined duct.
The back part is not as bright as front – main functionality. The rear bumper is also marked with aluminium insert and elegant exhaust pipes.
Appearance QX80 Monograph is not gives respite: in addition to the optics, very nice solved glazing and roof – windshield interface with glass doors creates the impression of a floating roof and is somewhat reminiscent of the rally Stratos. According to the words of the chief designer of Infiniti, Alfonso Albaisa, was the source of inspiration including the works of the great masters of the Renaissance Michelangelo.
Completing the picture is a 24-inch (!) two-tone wheels, fits well in the overall image. No data on the overall dimensions of the concept no, but the meager words: "More than five meters in length and more than two in width." But wink said that most likely the name of "Monograph" will be prescribed and on production models, the labeling is probably the top-end configuration models.
