Founded by businessman Alan Wu firm  ICONIQ has gone from a full-sized layout to operating the machine under the name ICONIQ Seven total for the year. We have already seen in Shanghai super - and hypercar, sedans and even crossovers to electric ones, but the mini-vans stayed away. The Chinese decided to correct the injustice, creating a seven-seat van with an electric motor.

Many may wonder how they managed to create a car, albeit a concept, total for the year. Even if the cry of the party to collect the whole of China, to do anything sensible could not. In ICONIQ went the way of the transfer of work to contractors. Thus, the appearance of the exterior and interior was designed by the famous firm W Motors, earn yourself fame and Lykan hypercar Fenyr. Platform and drives were designed by Italian Magna. House Studiotorino has taken on the development of prototypes.

ICONIQ Seven is the electric capacity of 224 HP with a cruising range on a single charge up to 400 km From a van with impressive dimensions: length 4.9 m, width 1.9 m, height 1.86 m, the wheelbase nearly 3 meters.

Seven conceived as a vehicle for a wide range of users. This provided three different modifications, designed for different financial capabilities. In the "base" mini-van can be used as a taxi or other similar service. However, by the Shanghai basic equipment to prepare did not.

But ICONIQ Seven two expensive versions were put on display. Next in the lineup is Premium, designed for everyday personal use – normal family mini-van, only on electric. The most expensive and advanced version will become ICONIQ Seven VIP – partition between driver and passengers (as in limo), seat with a full set of all possible adjustments and high quality trim materials. Another feature of the VIP versions are rear-hinged doors, opening against the move.

The Chinese are planning to start production of ICONIQ Seven in 2019. And the bar they set is pretty high to increase the sales of cars to 100 thousand a year by 2024.

The magnitude of the approach is impressive, but so far does not inspire confidence. Maybe the user ICONIQ looks up to Elon musk and his sales projections for Tesla? By the way, something will be taken over from Tesla – download software updates via the Internet. So the Chinese are planning to introduce Seven by 2020, the autopilot of the third level. And constructively for autopilot in the car will be all ready with the first production models, just press "Ok" button and download the necessary software.
