On 11-m to year of life the van has found a new face

Toyota Alphard and Velfire were not the only minivans that are updated at the end of the year. New face also tried on Hyundai H-1.

By automotive standards, this is a real survivor. Hyundai H-1 second generation began in 2007. After almost 11 years, the manufacturer finally decided not to replace the van, and restyling. Of course, Hyundai H-1 is more commercial equipment (although many use it as a family car), which is usually updated less cars. But even with this long life cycle is an exception.

Designers Korean brand thoroughly reworked appearance. The headlight units are now installed horizontally and not vertically. Appeared enlarged square chrome grille. With the other angle changes are not as extensive.

But the most noticeable changes happened in the interior: inside the new Hyundai H-1 is almost the same like the old version. Here we have used a new front fascia, a different steering wheel and a more expensive finish options.

Updated interior evokes associations with more expensive cars.

Basic diesel engine 2.5 CRDi became a little more powerful and high-torque: 140 horsepower and 353 N·m vs 136 HP and 343 N·m informed. Another version of this power unit is equipped with a turbine with variable geometry, gives 176 forces and 451 N·m (prior to the upgrade — 170 HP and 441 N·m). Junior engine matched with a five-speed manual transmission, senior — with a five-speed "automatic". The drive can still be back or full.

At home the van (where it bears the name Hyundai Starex) will be available in different versions: from a triple panel van to a minibus with 12 seats. Shots of the interior belong to the most expensive nine-seater modification Urban. The most budget version of the Starex will still be produced with the old "face".
