As of the moment, Hyundai Creta is one of the bestsellers in the Russian market. In April, it sold 5 933 such machines, so the Korean model not only became the most popular crossover, but is in the TOP 5 most popular cars in Russia. And although in our country, Creta appeared relatively recently (in 2016), some other markets it has already updated. Now, the South Korean company introduced a facelifted version to India.

You cannot say that the appearance of the "Crete" was drastically changed, but some metamorphosis is still striking. Most notably updated "muzzle": the designers have installed a new front grille in the spirit of the latest Hyundai. She became more, and its chrome-plated trim now comes into contact with the lights.

In addition to this change the picture of the front bumper. Fog lights (which, incidentally, is also new) is now "enveloped" C-shaped sections of led daytime running lights. The shape of the front headlights and rear lights have remained the same, but their content was slightly redrafted.

Viewed from the rear, the refreshed Hyundai Creta easiest to identify on illumination: the bumper is new here too, but the difference from the previous is not so obvious. Equally subtle changes in the cabin. But the option list was long: now, buyers can order electric driver's seat and sunroof, wireless charging for smartphones and even smart bracelet Smart Key Band, which can replace not only the keys to the car, but the pedometer.

But technical innovations for the Indian market is not provided. Creta will continue to be powered by 123-HP 1.6-liter gasoline engine and unusual for us diesel units with a volume of 1.4 l (90 HP) and 1.6 liters (128 horsepower). You can also choose manual or automatic gear box (both with six speeds). But the alternative to front-wheel drive is not provided in India are not sold-wheel-drive "Crete".

Usually localized innovations reach the Russian market very long. It is expected that the sales of the updated Hyundai Creta will come no earlier than 2019. At the moment there is no clarity on changes for Russia: it is likely that the restyled version will be similar to Indian, but official information on this account yet.
