Updated Ford EcoSport for Europe

For the motor show in Frankfurt am main, concern Ford has prepared a restyling very popular in the European market subcompact crossover EcoSport. This was presented restyled version of North and South America (April 2017, new York), and now is the turn to the "old" Europe.

Designers have almost completely changed the front part of the car. Have updated the "Ecosport" grille "has moved" upstairs, the lights were wider and longer, there are new fog lights. However, we are talking about the sporting version of the ST-Line – the basic version will certainly be easier.

The interior is completely transformed – artsy curves became smaller, the unit climate control is a more clear and familiar, and most importantly, the center console has a large touchscreen media system, SYNC 3 a diagonal of 8 inches, equipped with interfaces of Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Another plus – a new audio system premium B&O PLAY from the Danish company Bang & Olufsen, which is in the list of additional equipment.

Also in the list of options – adaptive cruise control with a speed limiting feature, two-tone body color, wheels 17 or even 18 inch and heated steering wheel, and most importantly – in the summer of 2018 for Europe will offer a new all-wheel drive transmission Ford Intelligent All Wheel Drive.

The engine range is also updated there latest turbo diesel 1.5 liter developing 125 HP and 300 N∙m, with an average fuel consumption of 4.5 l per 100 km transmission for the new turbodiesel 6-speed manual, no options.

Unfortunately, at the Russian plant Ford Sollers in Naberezhnye Chelny will continue to collect dorestaylingovyh "Ecosport" until at least the end of next year, and there, staring, and a new generation arrives.
