Europe meets the new Ford Fiesta

The gates of the Assembly line in Cologne began to leave Ford Fiesta new generation, is designed for Europe market. According to representatives of the company, Ford has invested in the improvement of the production site of nearly 300 million euros.

At the moment, the pipeline leave Fiesta as standard, a little later to the list will be updated with modification ST-Line and Vignale. "Hot" hatchback Fiesta ST, as well as modification Active, will begin to produce next year.

Premiere of the new generation of Ford Fiesta was held in December 2016. Then everyone knew that in the heart of the car lies the platform of its predecessor. The European market the new Fiesta will come with one of three engines of various degrees of force: diesel 3-cylinder engine with a turbo 1.0 l (100, 125, 140 HP) 3-cylinder 1.1-liter (70 and 85 HP) and diesel 1.5-liter TDCi (85 and 120 HP). To work the engines will be from 5 - and 6-speed manual gearbox or 6-speed automatic transmission.

Don't forget the Fiesta ST, which we learned in early 2017. "Aggressive kid" is equipped with a 1.5-liter EcoBoost rated at 200 HP, allowing to accelerate to 100 km/h in just 6.7 seconds.

Motor Europe will get a Fiesta of new generation in July this year. However, at the moment it is not known when the new Ford Fiesta will be available in Russia. By the way, our market will certainly be a sedan, which is unlikely to fall in Europe.
