McLaren designers presented a concept for Gran Turismo 7

To try out a virtual McLaren Ultimate Vision Gran Turismo will be in a month

Gran Turismo 6 for the PlayStation 3 has become not just a cult car simulator. Uniqueness lies not only in the rich set of models and tracks, detailed physics and graphics. The thing is that in the history of gamedev another example, when the auto manufacturers has released many concepts especially for one game. Next month will be released the long-awaited (myself PS 4 exclusive which will be a novelty, appeared in 2013), Gran Turismo 7, and some manufacturers have started to provide unique supercars, designed for her. One of the most agile were the designers of the McLaren.

From a visual point of view, the novelty resembles a hybrid top road supercars and race cars racing series. It has something from the sports prototypes "24 hours of Le Mans", while the British company does not participate in this discipline.

The "heart" of McLaren's Ultimate Vision Gran Turismo is the 4-liter V8 with twin turbo. The same used in the latest McLaren model 720S, but in this case it is supplemented with two electric motors built in front wheels. The total output of the hybrid is 1150 HP and 1275 nm.

Body Ultimate Vision Gran Turismo is traditionally made of carbon fiber and total weight of the car is only 1 000 kg. against that background, the P1 GTR with its 1 400 kg seems an avid visitor to McDonald's. And in the new concept the driver's seat installed in the center of the cabin, which is a reference to the legendary McLaren F1.

It is assumed that similar McLaren Ultimate Vision Gran Turismo car could appear by 2030. But the owners of the PlayStation 4 will be able to test it in 17 October of the current year: on this day the scheduled release of Gran Turismo Sport.
