Prior to the opening of the Tokyo motor show is running out of time, and Japanese companies have not had time to announce their new products, I hasten to share the fresh experience. A couple of charismatic concepts the designers have prepared Daihatsu, who provided prototypes of the "four-door coupe" and practical K-Kara.

According to the authors, Daihatsu Compagno DN should evoke nostalgia for the model Compagno, produced in the 60's. this model was drawn by masters of the Studio Vignale. The new product is not too much like their ancestor, but it is still a strong retro motifs. But here sloping roof and disguised door intended to give sedan for coupes are clearly the modern attributes. Feed may be associated with the Cadillac sedans.

Daihatsu Compagno DN is contained in the movement of the hybrid powertrain, including the 1.2-litre motor, electric motor, CVT and battery. More accurate technical parameters not disclosed.

The second concept — DN Pro Cargo van, though descended from the cover of the next Pixar movie. The car has typical only for the Japanese kei-car proportions: the shape of the body as thoroughly as possible mimic the box from-under footwear with the bottom attached tiny wheels. The mastermind behind the technology is the Daihatsu Midget from the 50's.

But for her petite size Daihatsu DN Pro Cargo most practical. At the words of the designers in the salon will fit a standing adult passenger. However, for this growth does not exceed 160 cm in addition to this provided motorized platform for wheelchairs.

A Japanese firm have updated their past concepts, in particular DN U-Space, DN Trek, and DN Multisix.
