The German company has introduced the concept of a flagship SUV BMW X7 iPerformance. However, the serial crossover we will see more soon, only in 2018.


BMW designers have created an unusual and controversial conceptual prototype. Many struck by the huge grille, which isn't really combined with optics – narrow headlights look very elegant. 


In General, the design of the crossover X7 iPerformance got chopped form. Rear lights stretched the entire width of the stern of the flagship crossover.


It seems that the study of the new interior is more sophisticated – here the parade of present and future technologies. Dashboard iPerformance digital panel, which combined with a 12.3-inch touch screen multimedia, and the front seats have built extra large tablets. Just inside, a conceptual X7 six seats, but you can be sure that the serial crossover will be a seven-seater.


Officially, the dimensions of the SUV was not announced, but the media found out about them: 5020х2020х1800 mm, wheelbase – 3010 mm. the production version of the SUV, as a concept, built on the platform of CLAR. On X7 iPerformance set of huge 23-inch wheels.


BMW X7 iPerformance equipped with a hybrid powertrain. Commodity version of the flagship crossover will be a hybrid version. In addition, the BMW X7 is expected with petrol engines 3.0 V6 and 4.4 V8, and diesel engines.


It is not excluded that we will see the flagship of the Bavarian concern with a V12 engine. Hybrid modification will be equipped with likely the same setup as on the BMW xDrive 740Le iPerformance. Full BMW X7 production to begin in the second half of next year in the US, and this waiting for all the dealers of the Bavarian brand in Russia as a seven-seater BMW needs to compete with Range Rover and Mercedes-Benz GLS.
