The Curiosity Rover found a worthy replacement
In advertising, as in combat, all means are good. To attract attention to the new generation BMW X3 the German company has offered to take a virtual test drive of the crossover on the surface of Mars.
Judging by the 360-degree video, the Bavarian SUV easily cope with the landscape of the red planet. Perhaps his suspension is really "digest" the local roads, especially since the gravity on Mars is much smaller than the earth. But there is one small snag — the lack of atmosphere and oxygen, so necessary for the operation of the internal combustion engine.
Perhaps the advertisers should have wait for the all-electric version of the X3, which air to work is simply not needed. This modification has already been developed, its debut is scheduled for 2020.
But terracotta interior now perfectly fits the landscape of a distant planet that mankind has long dreamed to colonize.
