BMW started taking orders for the new crossover X3

The novelty will appear in Russia in November and will be cheaper

Today the Russian division of the Bavarian concern, OOO "BMW Russland trading" has announced prices for BMW X3 new generation and start taking orders for the new crossover. First customers will receive the new BMW X3, on 11 November this year.

Interestingly, the starting price of 2 950 000 in the basic version of the BMW X3 xDrive20i with a 184-strong petrol turbo engine and 8-speed "automatic" ZF is smaller than similar previous generation model (2 963 000), and the first time all the modifications will be delivered from USA, and local Assembly in Kaliningrad will probably start later.

Closest rivals of the "Big three" with the 2.0-liter motors are more expensive – for example, Audi Q5 2.0 TFSI quattro now costs from 2 980 000 rubles, and GLС Mercedes 250 4Matic "Special series" – 3 120 000.

The list of standard equipment of the new BMW X3 xDrive 20i significantly expanded, it included, for example, the Servotronic power steering, 8-speed automatic transmission Steptronic, multifunction steering wheel, dynamic cruise control, power liftgate and media system with hands-free.

Just at the moment there are five basic variants of the product:

Diesel version

     X3 xDrive20i (2.0 l R4 184 HP)                 2 950 000.

     X3 xDrive30i (2.0 l R4, 249 HP)                 from 3 270 000 RUB.

     X3 M40i xDrive (3.0 l R6, 360 HP)             from the 4 040 000 RUB.

Diesel version  

     X3 xDrive20d (2.0 l R4, 190 HP)                3 040 000.

     X3 xDrive30d (3.0 l R6, 249 HP)                3, 600, 000.
