The Bavarians presented a concept coupe with the original name BMW 8 Series

Finally we waited for the official photos of the new BMW 8 series. Long car paparazzi tried to "catch" in the lenses one of the most anticipated cars of the Bavarian brand. The premiere of the prototype took place today at the Concorso d'eleganza Villa d'este. The concept car shown today, will be short-lived, as a series of "eight" will go in 2018.

As we all know, the BMW 6-series will soon leave our car world. Under this name, perhaps, will be sold "five" GT. Because two-door flagship of the brand should be the 8 series. The profile of the BMW 8 Coupe stands out above all the rapid lines, the shape of which is determined primarily by aerodynamics. Fit perfectly into the way the side "fins" of the duct.

The rear of the BMW 8 Coupe no less interesting than "front". Led lights create the impression that the car is in motion, even when just standing still. The rear bumper should be considered as a masterpiece – the epitome of aesthetics and aerodynamics, luxury and technology. If the eighth series will descend from the conveyor, the BMW will probably be able to move all of its competitors.

BMW 8 Coupe is painted in a specially created for the Barcelona Grey color Liquid. The car is put on large 21-inch wheels with an exclusive aerodynamic design. Wide track and long wheel base of the vehicle accentuate the sporty nature of the group.

About the interior, the Germans say it is "the combination of dynamics and luxury." At the forefront when designing the interior was given the ergonomics. The driver, getting on his "workplace", as if enveloped financially and emotionally car – a feature of all sports cars. Every curve and pattern in the cabin accentuate the dynamism.

Trim, the cabin is dominated by leather, Alcantara and polished aluminum. In General, concept BMW 8 Coupe can be, without a shadow of a doubt be called "the standard of perfection of the image". Well, or, at least, one of the most thoughtful in terms of design. Judge for yourself – even the framing of the vents of the climate system salon in the centre of the dashboard is similar to the radiator grille.

The interior of the BMW 8 Series is a combination of incongruous – a sporty character in everything, even in the steering wheel, together with unmatched luxury trim materials. The continuation of this concept we can see in the seats, which are made of carbon fiber, have a bucket profile and upholstered in luxurious leather. And what about the selector lever with a handle inlaid with Swarovski crystal.

As for the technical part of the BMW 8 Coupe, the company tactfully silent. Although from informal sources it became known that the "big coupe" rear-wheel drive initially, but under the hood it can be 6-, 8-cylinder engine and a top-end V12. How the production model will go from its conceptual counterpart is still unknown. Many believe that the BMW 8 Coupe will remain unchanged or with minimal adjustments – replace exterior mirrors on "normal", and on the door handles appear.
