Aston Martin together with Williams is preparing to manufacture electric car RapidE

The British are going to move into a new era in two years with an electric vehicle Aston Martin RapidE. We are all aware of the model Aston Martin Rapid is the same just a DB9 with four doors and a softer suspension. However, modification of Rapid AMR at the time was recognized as the fastest 4 door car in the world. And here the Rapid AMR? The fact that the company's management announced the desire to release a fully electric model superior to the characteristics of Rapid AMR.

At the moment, the representatives of Aston Martin did not disclose the parameters of the Aston Martin RapidE. One can only imagine what must be the power plant and battery to exceed "repetowski" V12 600 horsepower, overclocking it to 338 km/h. But we remember that in the presented two years ago, the concept of EV was installed equipment that guarantees a mileage of 320 km on a single charge. Most likely, capacity will exceed 500 kW (680 HP) – painfully beautiful figure.

By the way, the development of the electric vehicle is carried out together with the company Williams Advanced Engineering, the "daughter" of the racing team Williams F1. At the time, Williams Advanced Engineering was involved in creating the hybrid Jaguar C-X75 and develops high-performance batteries for electric Formula E.
