One of the most extravagant novelties of the IAA'in Frankfurt, 2017 should be electric hypercar Owl ("owl"), created by Japanese entrepreneur Masa and Yoshida. Technical details before the premiere, while low, only claimed that the spurt to 100 km/h in the Japanese hypercar takes less than 2 seconds.

In this parameter the car, apparently, will be a record, not counting the various specialized dragster with huge rear wheels. All exterior body panels made of carbon fiber, which is a spatial frame of steel tubes. It is obvious that hypercar has turned as easy.

Work on the project Owl began in 2014, then Masami Yoshida formulated, and the ultimate goal – acceleration to 100 km/h in about fifteen seconds. The maximum speed in this case is not important, in the foreground the main advantage of the electric motor in the first place instant transfer of torque to the wheels. By the way, in the work on the project was attended by Japanese engineering company, Ikeya Formula, presented in 2013 in Tokyo supercar IF-02 RDS.

It remains only to wait for the premiere on August 12 which will announce all the features of the newest hypercar. According to Yoshida, the price of Owl will exceed 3 000 000 dollars!
