While Vesta became a bestseller
We recently podvodili positive end of 2017. But many experts were skeptical: in 2018, it is expected another round of price increase of cars, the reduction of public sector support and a number of factors that can have a negative impact on sales. However, the results of January exceeded even the most optimistic forecasts.
In the first month of 2018 the sales of new cars in Russia have jumped by 31.3 %: this is evidenced by the recent report of the Committee of the AEB. In January, it sold 102 464 of the car, which is 24 428 more than a year ago. As before, a dozen bestsellers is entirely composed of cars of local production.
Positive dynamics is shown for almost all the brands. Popular manufacturers the highest growth was recorded by the company Renault — + 51 %. Pessimistic January ended for Lifan (-4 %), Audi (-22 %), Citroen (-3 %), Infiniti (-36 %) and Suzuki (-21 %).
For the nice messages about the growth of the market can not see another significant event: Lada Vesta for the first time became the absolute bestseller in the market. In January it sold 6 696 of these machines. In second place the previous leader Kia Rio (6 582), closes the top three "Grant" (5 315 cars). It is noteworthy that what follows is Hyudani Creta (3 833 auto), which managed to circumvent related Hyudan Solaris (seventh place, 2 987 pieces).
Almost twice increased sales of another Korean Crosser — Kia Sportage (from 1 565 in January 2017 to 3 067). But in a dozen best-selling is the most expensive car.
"the Powerful start of the Russian automotive market in 2018. 31% growth, partly due to low base of last year, remarkable in the sense that it is the highest monthly increase year-on-year since 2011. It is possible to expect positive dynamics of sales in the short term, although probably on a smaller scale. Buyers respond well to the current offerings on the market, knowing that the special conditions on cars of 2017, production is limited for the reason that sale of the dealership drains faster than in years past," — said the Chairman of automobile manufacturers Committee of the AEB Joerg Schreiber.
