Sales of new passenger cars, LCV and pickup trucks in November 2019 fell to 6.4%

The Russian market of new passenger cars and LCVs continues to dive. So, according to the automobile manufacturers Committee of the AEB sale in November 2019 fell by 6.4% or by 10.65 thousand compared to November 2018, and made 156,8 thousand

Chairman of the AEB automobile manufacturers Committee Joerg Schreiber commented on the results of the penultimate month of the year 2019: "November with losses in sales in excess of 6% confirmed the prevailing negative trend of the Russian automotive market this year. Of course, the comparison with last year should take account of good sales in the end, caused the expected increase in VAT. For this reason, we do not expect to see a change of trend to positive in December."

For 11 months from the beginning of the year new car sales fell by 2.8% to 1 million 580,3 thousand

Top 25 still consists exclusively of models of Russian Assembly.

PS starting next year, increases recycling for all categories of vehicle, which in itself may spur demand in the market, traditionally growing at the end of each year.
