In March, the Russian market grew by 14 %

At the end of March failed Ravon and Lada, whose sales grew 71 and 22 %. Now the results of the entire industry. In General, the market is growing slower than the two mentioned brands, but the result is also quite good — a +13.9 per cent.

In total, Russia has sold 157 of 279 vehicles. In the first quarter recorded an even more impressive increase — +21.7 per cent (392 920 cars). However, when comparing these data it becomes clear that growth is gradually slowing. This fact can be treated differently. Some experts believe that it is quite natural result, since about the same period of last market also began to grow. In other words, if the new results were compared with the lowest rates last year, now the very starting point of growing.

In the "Association of European businesses" have confirmed this hypothesis: the March became the 12th month of continuous sales growth. The AEB members expect to see growth of 10 % by the end of 2018: in total, this year sales can amount to 1.75 million cars.

Among the leading brands Lada (708 30 cars, +22 %), Kia (19 096 cars, +31 %) and Hyundai (16 705 cars, +18 %). Also in the top ten included Renault (14 047 machines, +25 %), Toyota (8 914 machines, -8 %), Volkswagen (631 8 cars, +24 %), Skoda (6 483 machines, +34 %), Nissan (6 402 machine, -21 %), Mitsubishi (5 227 machines, a 3.1-fold increase) and Ford (5 202 cars, +25 %).

If to speak about statistics for individual models, the bestseller was the Kia Rio. Its sales grew 17 % to 9 809 cars. This includes 2 935 cross-hatchbacks Rio X-Line. "Silver" went "West" (9 car 181, +52 %), and "bronze" took another representative of this segment — Hyundai Solaris (883 6 cars, +3 %). They are followed by Hyundai Creta, Volkswagen Polo, Renault Duster, Lada Largus, Renault Kaptur and Renault Logan. It is noteworthy that the performance of all models is growing.
