According to the AEB in July of this year, the market of new passenger cars and LCV fell by 2.4% (3484 units) up 1 39 968 units.
In January-July, the market of new passenger cars and LCV fell by the same 2.4 percent (23 955 units) to 968 718 units.
Deputy Chairman of the AEB automobile manufacturers Committee Lars Himmer said about this: "For seven months of 2019, we are seeing a market which decreased by 2.4 % compared with the previous year, both in monthly and annual basis. Overall market expectations until the end of the year will not improve."

The leader among brands remained LADA with zero rate dynamics in July (29 486 units) and growth of 2% for 7 months (203 672 units). In the second place KIA, respectively, with +2% (18 811 units) and +1% (130 of 416 units) and the Hyundai -4% (13 849 units) and 0% (101 875 units). The highest growth in the Top 10 for July – have Skoda with +10% (7307 units), and for 7 months at BMW's +16% (23 of 165 units).
The worst result in the Top 10 for July and year-to-date Nissan shown with minus 33% (3980 units) and -18% (35 of 319 units), respectively.

Among the models best-selling Jul and in 7 months acts LADA Granta with 10 652 units (+40,2%) and 53 of 271 units (+40.1 per cent). Silver in both rankings for LADA Vesta with 8937 units (-0.6%) and 64 721 units (+10.4 percent). Bronze also for July and January-July, respectively, for the KIA Rio with 7171 units (-8,1%) and 54 602 units (-8%).
Interestingly, in July, the indicators of the pace of sales was very close to the values for 7 months from the beginning of the year.
However, in the context of growing recession and "black swans" in the world economy, the instability of demand in the second half of the year could lead to a significantly worse final results of the market than in the first half of the year.
