"Life has become better, life has become merrier"
It became known yesterday that sale of "Lada" in 2017 increased by 17 %. As expected, the domestic brand grew faster than the market: according to statistics published today by the Association of European businesses, in the amount of realization jumped by 11.9 %. In total, our country has sold 1 595 737 cars.
In December managed to keep positive dynamics, detected. In the last month of 2017, the Russians bought 14% more cars than in the same period, 2016 (the absolute value of the — 166 013 cars). We will remind that in November, the growth was 15 %.
If we talk about the distribution of demand, the leader of the domestic market remained "AVTOVAZ". He sold 311 588 machines, which is 17% higher than the figures of 2016. The three leaders included two of the Korean brand: KIA (181 947 cars, +22 %) and Hyundai (858 157 cars, + 9 %). Doing well at Renault (136 682 cars, +17 %). The demand for "Toyota" remained at the same level (94 238 auto).
Also in the top ten most popular brands included Volkswagen (89 469 machines, +21 %), Nissan (76 000 vehicles, +8 %), Skoda (62 302 cars, +12%), GAZ (58 617 cars, +5 %) and Ford (50 to 360 cars, +18 %).
The Association of European businesses said that the market still has a long way to return to its former size. Meanwhile, made only the first step. Recall that in 2016 sales of cars decreased by 11 %, so 2017 was the first "positive" year for 2012. At the same time, absolute numbers obtained almost twice the difference with the same year of 2012 was a record for Russia (it was then sold almost three million cars).
What to expect from this year? Experts believe that it will not: affect increase prices on new cars (some analysts predict an increase of 15 %) and almost double the decline of state sector.
At the same time still not fully implemented pent-up demand due to falling demand in 2015-2016, many motorists do not have time to update their machines, so now they can come to the showrooms for a new one.
