Where is the world?
We recently zatrahali about how much for that vehicle producers earn. One of the world leaders was Ferrari: the Italian brand gets €69 000 on every car sold. Now analysts Ernst & Young have calculated other statistics: they built the 16 largest automobile companies in terms of profitability.
The traditional leader in this area is the BMW. The Bavarian brand strictly follows its financial reporting, and restricts costs. Here and in the first half it remained the leader. However, if you look at the data for the second quarter of 2018, it would appear that the most profitable carmaker Suzuki turned out to be!
This is the Suzuki that keeps on the conveyor frankly the old model: suffice it to recall the Suzuki Grand Vitara, which is available since 2005, and recently, the successor generation mini SUV Jimny were produced from 1998 year, that is 20 years! The Suzuki, which was not able to go on the market cars on models Junior segment: remember the failed sedan Suzuki Kizashi. The Suzuki, which often produces cars with vague technical specifications and design to which a question arises. How she managed to get around the BMW and become the world leader?
Experts Ernst & Young did not give a direct answer to this question. But they cited statistics: the company's profit in the second quarter reached 11.8 %. This means that for every $100 received from the sale of the car, she earns $11,8 profit. BMW slipped to second place with a rate of 11.4 %.
The remaining concerns voiced not completely. It is known that Daimler AG has slipped from third place in the first quarter to sixth in the second with a margin of 6.5 %. With the same rate (6.5 percent), Volkswagen AG was in seventh place.
