The Russian tire market in 2017 increased significantly

According RAMR in the Russian tire market in 2017, an increase of 20.4% to 51,3 million. Characteristically, more than half (58%) implemented in 2017, the tires had a domestic origin.

The share of imported tires on the market remains unchanged in 2015 and is 42%. In quantitative terms, imported tyres in 2017, the volume reached 21.6 million units (+20%). The export of tires from Russia by 2017 by 6.3% and amounted to 22.4 million.

Tire production in Russia is continuously increasing over the the last four years. So, in 2017 has been produced for 52.1 million tires, which is 7.4% higher than in 2016. In the structure of production on the tires of foreign brands accounted for 59%, and in bus Russian brands 41%.
