According RAMR in the 1st quarter of 2019, the average prices for new pickups and light commercial vehicles (LCV) increased by 10.1% compared to the same period in 2018 and amounted to ₽1 490 002.
Financial capacity of the market of new LCV and pickups has increased in January-March by 4.9% and amounted to ₽37,673 million
Average price for used LCVs and pick-UPS in January-March 2019 increased by 10.9% compared to the same period last year to ₽638 171. The capacity of the market for used LCVs in the 1st quarter of 2019 amounted to ₽60 483 million (+12,4%).

In January-March 2019 the weighted average prices of new cars were observed in all of the brands from the Top 10.
The biggest increase in average prices (over 10%) showed brands GAZ, Mercedes-Benz, Peugeot and Citroen.
The greatest financial capacity of the market among the Top 10 brands new LCV and pick-UPS in the considered period was observed in GAZ – ₽15,142 million, with the growth of market capacity of the brand amounted to 15.4%. The top three market capacity has also built the brands Ford (₽5,192 million, +27.3 per cent – the best dynamics on the market) and Volkswagen (₽4,296 billion, +17%), surely Olesnica domestic UAZ on the 4-th place (₽3,904 billion +8.6 per cent). The top 5 rounded out with his Toyota truck Hilux (₽1,684 billion, +11.5 per cent).
The four brands of the Top 10 new LCV and pickups the marked reduction of financial capacity, including: Mercedes-Benz, Mitsubishi, Peugeot and Citroen. Negative dynamics of financial capacity associated with a decline in physical volumes of sales of LCV of these brands more than 25%.
Among the Top 10 regional markets for LCV and pickups the highest average price for new cars registered in Moscow (₽1 730 560, +5,1%), Saint-Petersburg (₽1 694 299, +11,9%) and Moscow region (₽1 636 446, +9%).
A leader in the market among the Russian regions remains Moscow. In the capital region in the 1st quarter of 2019, sales of new LCVs amounted to ₽6,299 billion (+10,6%). Financial capacity markets in the Moscow region and St. Petersburg are also included in the top three, respectively, accounting for ₽3,338 billion (-23,4%) and ₽2,274 billion (-9,2%).

In January-March 2019 all the brands from the Top 10 also showed an increase of the average prices.
Among these brands, the largest market capacity over the period was observed in Gas – ₽15,987 billion, with the growth of the financial market capacity of the brand amounted to 9.6%. It is followed by Volkswagen and Mercedes-Benz with performance ₽7,261 billion (17.2 per cent) and ₽5,306 billion (+12.7 per cent), respectively.
Among the top 10 regions with the highest weighted average prices for used LCVs and pick-UPS recorded in Primorsky Krai (₽967 308, +19,6%), Kaliningrad region (₽915 046, +9,6%) and the Irkutsk region (₽762 903, +15,4%).
A leader in the market for used LCVs and pick-UPS among Russian regions also welcomed by Moscow. In the capital in January-March was resold for used LCVs and pickups at ₽5,704 billion (+15,3%). The capacity of the markets of the Moscow region and Krasnodar territory, which are also the three leaders on this indicator is ₽4,978 billion (+15.2%) and ₽3,451 billion (+17,3%), respectively..
