The average price of new cars since the beginning of 2019, grew 9.6%

According RAMR in January-August 2019 the weighted average of the prices of new cars rose by 9.6% compared to the same period in 2018 and amounted to 1 million 615,58 thousand RUB

Accordingly, the market capacity of new cars has increased over this period by 8.5% and reached 1 trillion 619 billion 882 million RUB.

In January-August 2019 all brands of Top 15 marked increase in the average price.

So to buy cars brand KIA for 8 months of this year Russians spent 183 billion 198 million rubles, which is 6.9% more than the year before. Also in the top three of market capacity includes the brands Toyota (161 billion RUB 729 million) and LADA (152 billion 831 million rubles).
And, here the brands Nissan and Lexus showed a negative trend of financial capacity, reflecting a decrease in sales of brands by 13.9% and 13.6%, respectively.
