Called leaders of price growth in January

Some models have risen from 10-15 %

In January 2018 passenger cars continued to rise. Experts of the marketing Agency Russian Automotive Market Research has estimated the increase in prices compared to December 2017 and have called the growth leaders.

Higher prices for some models were more than impressive. The unconditional leader was the American Cadillac XT5 crossover, which has increased in price from 15.2 per cent. In the second building by his relative — the Cadillac CTS sedan (+11 %). Closes the three leaders of the powerful coupe-the Audi RS5 (+9.7 per cent).

This is followed by several members of the Chinese brand Lifan: Solano II and X50 have risen by 9.4 %, Myway added 8.8 %, and rates crossover X60 rose 7.3 %.

All the above models can not be attributed to mass: they are not the bestsellers on the Russian market. However, the most popular cars are also gradually becoming more expensive. So, Volkswagen Polo Sedan increased in price by 3.4 %, Skoda Octavia up 3.2 %. About the same rose Toyota Corolla (+3.9 per cent) and RAV4 (+3.6 percent).

Pleasant exceptions also occur. For example, a few days ago Chery announced price reductions on some models. A number of models of crossovers Tiggo 3 and Tiggo 5 has become more accessible by 10-50 thousand rubles.
