Rosstandart revealed on the Crimean filling stations large abuse on fuel quality

Federal Agency on technical regulation and Metrology (Rosstandart) spent in the Crimea in may and early June, 2019 extensive testing of the local gas stations. Following the inspections, it turned out that the counterfeit contains 47% is taken from the realization of samples of diesel fuel and 20% of samples of gasoline.
Only 19 of the stations of the Peninsula was taken 58 samples. In addition to a direct falsification of fuel irregularities were detected in the part of documentary maintenance and marking of fuel. Violators were under administrative measures of the Russian Federation, including the fines.
The Deputy head of Rosstandart Alexey Kuleshov believes that: "Despite the fact that the situation of the surrogate fuels in the Crimea in comparison with last year has improved markedly in 2018 the turnover of the surrogate up to 70% on diesel and up to 45% on petrol, the situation requires immediate solution." He said that Rosstandart plans to use the tools and experience solving problems in other regions where the proportion of counterfeits in four years fell from over 20% to 9%.
At the end of last year, the head of the Ministry of industry and trade Denis Manturov in an interview with RBC said that over the past three years the number of violations related to the quality of fuel at gas stations has been reduced. He said that in 2015
the inspections showed violations in 21% of samples, whereas in 2018 the violation was less than 9%. Manturov added: "given the imposed turnover fines she [dynamics] more positive will be."
Punishment in the form of turnover fines Rosstandart proposed to introduce in the summer of 2018. In this type of penalty for the first violation with the petrol stations will be fined in the amount of 1% of the annual turnover of the company, and at repeated violation the sum will amount to 3% of turnover.
