And the most ruinous to the owner of the car was the expected Land Rover Discovery. And it's not that he would often break down in these three years. A three-year British SUV took off 40% of its price. Surprising this scenario is not: Discovery is traditionally the anti-hero of such ratings.

What can you conclude?

In CarPrice stressed that their ranking differs from others by the fact that it is based on the actual sales price of cars in the secondary market. Thus in such cases often used the amount for which the owners put their cars in the ads (you can ask all you want, another question is, how much the car will really go).

At the same time you must be aware that in the current circumstances, any estimates for a three year old machines almost meaningless: because of the fall of the ruble in 2015 new cars rose in price rapidly, so that in some cases, after three years, they even added to the price, which in normal conditions can not be.

On the other hand, if to speak not about the absolute values, but relative price dynamics, such statistics allows to compare different models. But how many then go to the dealership for a brand new Porsche Cayman, which became the leader of the rating?
