Russian motorists spent on used cars of 1.93 trillion rubles

According RAMR average price for used cars in January-August 2019 increased by 7.8% compared to the same period last year to RUB 553 897 Capacity of the market of used cars has made 1 933 446 mln (+7.8 percent).

Among the Top 15 brands of used passenger cars in January-August 2019 the leader was Toyota on purchase of cars of this brand Russians spent 288 billion 575 million RUB followed by LADA and Mercedes-Benz for the purchase of cars which residents of Russia spent 188 billion 661 million RUB 152 billion and 38 million rubles, respectively.

The leader of the market among the Russian regions remains Moscow. In the capital in the first eight months of 2019 used cars were sold on the 188 billion and 986 million rubles. totaling more than 85 billion rubles spent on the purchase of used cars residents of the Krasnodar region, St. Petersburg and Moscow region.
