Plastic SUV "APAL-21541" on the basis of LADA 4x4 made it to buyers in 2019

In the show-room of one of the dealers of LADA in Togliatti was put up for sale the infamous SUV "APAL-21541" in the world known as "Stalker".

SUV with the original plastic body created on the basis of the classic Niva (LADA 4x4) is offered at ₽of 1.23 million

This car is supposedly the first production batch of 150 machines on which the "APAL" received Type Approval vehicle Rosstandart.
The fate of the "Stalker" turned out to be no better than his on-screen namesake from the movie of Tarkovsky.

Plastic 3-door body has predetermined lesser weight of an SUV in 1170 kg (dimensions 3550х1646х1751 mm, base 2200 mm), despite the steel frame, which allows to maintain almost the same good performance as the original "Fields".

The main units of the power plant and chassis for a utilitarian SUV "Stalker" is borrowed from the mass of the model Lada 4x4 3-dr (VAZ-21214, i.e. a classic "Fields"). The company "APAL" claims that her plastic ZUROPLAST resistant to changes in temperature without reducing the strength properties, which implies a long life as the body and the car itself.
