"UAZ-hunter" with the turbine and "automatic". Fiction? No!

Modified "UAZ" will be exported

"Hunter" is just an updated version of the UAZ-469. Changes relative to the original is so insignificant that with the engine running can show that somewhere in the background of the Soviet radio read out the decisions of the XXIV Congress of the CPSU (UAZ-469 started to produce in 1972). However, now there is a new special model "hunter" with a turbocharged engine and automatic transmission. Just a kind of fantasy.

In the old Soviet tradition, this top version will be supplied for export only. Brand new "Hunter" with a pumped filling will be supplied to the market of Lebanon. Distributor is a company Ultimate Fahed.

According to "Azbuka", the special version of Russian (or even Soviet) of the SUV was developed by the Moscow company "TD UAZ motors". She installed it on "hunter" contractual four-speed automatic Aisin 30-40LE (A340).

The improvements was subjected to the motor. The standard 2.7-liter gasoline ZMZ-409 is rated at 135 horsepower additionally equipped with a turbocharger. Unfortunately, the total impact is not reported.

Among the other improvements noted installation of air conditioning. Taking into account the climatic characteristics of Lebanon is hard to imagine a SUV without this option.

Interesting point. We can assume that these "Hunters" were ordered by the Ministry of defence of the Lebanese Republic or other law enforcement Agency. However, Ultimate Fahed is going to sell these SUVs to private clients, predominantly women. Supposedly now among them is growing the fashion style of "military", and an old UAZ is an excellent choice for this role.
