The government may require aggregators to pay to the taxi drivers minimum wage

The Department of transport voiced an interesting idea. They suggested the taxi aggregators to install drivers for a minimal price. It is recommended to focus on the average monthly salary of the bus driver, which in the capital varies approximately 65-70 thousand rubles.

Response aggregators logical: as in all previous cases, when it came to responsibility or any regulation from above, they refer to the fact that they are only intermediaries between passengers and carriers. From the official point of view, the aggregators only provide information service to: inform the driver about the presence of the order, the client on delivery of the car.

How did you learn the Kommersant, the proposal to install a minimum salary introduced by the Department of transport. The authors of the idea argue thus: since the aggregators taxi easily expect all your costs and include salaries of its employees in the Commission, they will easily be able to calculate a decent salary professional taxi driver.

But wages will be forced to significantly revise the relationship of taxi drivers with aggregators. As a minimum, you will need to formalize the employment relationship. Today taxi drivers are not included in the state aggregators. In the best case they might be considered to be taxis.

The representative of the group of companies "Lucky", which includes the brands "Saturn", Red Taxi, "important before", "Luck" and "Leader", said that today aggregators are now "doing things" to increase the income of taxi drivers. In particular, they pay extra for a short trip. The Union Taxi driver said. that the Moscow taxi driver per shift earns an average of 1.5–3 thousand rubles.

The Chairman of the transport Committee of the state Duma Vitaly Efimov, who is one of the authors of the initiative, complained that today's units are technically outside the legal field. They never meet and not be subject to any requirements.

Also, the bill mentions the obligation of taxi drivers to obtain licenses. The taxi service will be obliged to submit a notice regarding commencement activities.

It is expected that the Duma will consider the bill in the first reading next week.
