In connection with the shooting today at 13:30 on Priozersk highway in the Leningrad region, businessman Badri Shengelia a criminal case under article 105 of the criminal code ("Murder"). This was reported today the official representative of regional Department of the Investigative Committee of Russia (TFR) Julia Mamalygin.
She said: "According to preliminary data, the car MercedesBenz I moved on Novoryazanskoe highway in the direction of St. Petersburg, when in Vsevolozhsk district, 249 km of the road, he was fired from an unknown car, moving in the same direction. 53-year-old Badri Shengelia died on the spot."



Mamalygin said that at the scene now works investigative team of the number is composed of the most experienced investigators of the division for investigation of particularly important cases and forensics. The consequence checks all versions of the incident. Among the priority versions of revenge by former "colleagues", as Shengelia was a witness against Barsukov (Kumarin) – one (according to investigators) of the leaders of the Tambovskaya criminal group.



In addition, In 2017 on the basis of the testimony Shengelia was arrested and convicted Colonel RCDS Mikhail Maksimenko, who previously held the post of chief of management of own safety of the Ministry.
