From 23 to 25 may in celebration of the founding of the Northern capital was the First international vehicle festival SpbTransportFest, in which were the V St. Petersburg international parade of vintage vehicles, an Exhibition of innovative technology and international competition of professional skills of bus drivers. The festival was organized by the largest passenger carrier in North-West region of Russia SPb GUP "passazhiravtotrans" with the support of the government of St. Petersburg.
In the context of the international parade of vintage vehicles over 50 vintage buses were on the route from the Vasilyevsky island to the centre of St. Petersburg. Retroposed kicked off at noon may 25 at the Sea promenade, which also hosted an exhibition of vintage cars.
The parade, on an unprecedented scale collected rarities from St. Petersburg, Moscow, Ryazan, Rostov-on-don, Volgograd, Veliky Novgorod, and also from Estonia, Finland and Germany. The exhibition under the open sky on the Engineering street has become the center of attraction for the citizens and guests of the Northern capital, which could also see the latest models of equipment at the Exhibition of innovative technology. Visitors are also entertained with a concert program, the headliners of which were revived VIA "Belarusian Pesnyary", and also competitions on the theme of public transport, with prizes from the organizers. .
