The Ministry of infrastructure and transport issued a permit to test unmanned technology Samsung Electronics on public roads.

The manufacturer wants to develop hardware and software unmanned technology that would allow cars to move independently. The kit will include sensors, computer modules, blocks of artificial intelligence with technology learning. The latter is necessary for the possibility of Autonomous movement in bad weather and road conditions.

According to the newspaper Korea Herald, Samsung Electronics is one of the 20 companies, which gave the "green light" to run its technologies on public roads.

Among these 20 companies includes Hyundai Motor Company, which will act as a provider of vehicles modified for unmanned tests Samsung. Hyundai got permission from the government for such trials in February 2016.

South Korea at the moment, probably the only country that wants to simplify the rules of operation of unmanned vehicles, which in term stimulates industrial growth. That is why the government tries to reduce excess control tests of unmanned vehicles in real traffic conditions.

For example, automakers were allowed to make a car without a steering wheel if it is unmanned, and prescribed in the rules only one operator controlling the vehicle. Other countries such liberalism while can not boast.

If the rumors are true, the donor for the forthcoming tests will make Hyundai Ioniq. Recall that at the moment the permission for the tests "drones" on public roads is and Apple, and in California already go unmanned taxi from Google. We expect exciting matches of technology that will surely benefit.
