At the competition Concours of Elegance last weekend has received more than 10,000 lovers of classic and sports cars

The company Concours of Elegance presents A. Lange & Söhne, spent last week-end another outstanding display about 1,000 vehicles, which in the stunning gardens of Hampton Court Palace were able to see more than 10,000 fans.

Rolls-Royce Silver Ghost 1919 with the body of Atelier Barker

The main prize of Best in Show was awarded the Rolls-Royce Silver Ghost 1919 with the body of Atelier Barker, who voted themselves the owners of the participating cars.

Seventy-five of the rarest cars in the world parked in the magnificent gardens and fountains of the Palace of HAMPTON court, fought for the prestigious award of Best in Show. The quality restoration of the car was so impressive that even just to contemplate their good fortune.

Among them were, perhaps, the most wonderful in the world of Ferrari 166MM model, winning awards at Le Mans and in the Mille Miglia, and the world's first production Jaguar D-Type and a collection of the most significant ever issued by Bentley.

The best in the competition Rolls-Royce Silver Ghost 1919 with the body of Barker was the favorite of the public throughout the weekend. This elegant car with polished aluminum body, of course, was the bright "Silver Ghost", ordered a man who owned 25 such "rolls-Royce": Lieutenant-General His Highness Maharaja sir Bhupindra Singhof Patiala. In his garage in North-West India, this beautiful car has spent many years. Style exterior was inspired by the French carrosserie Henri Labourdette whose stylish body in the style of art Deco, built on the chassis of Rolls-Royce in the years 1913-14, struck the imagination of the Maharaja, however, in December 1915, he chose to create this body on the chassis type 11PD – a leading British kosovorotka Barker (Barker).

The awards were also awarded to other classics of different styles and eras. The winners were, for example, recently restored at the factory McLaren F1 hypercar and one of the nine Stout Scarab, produced a masterpiece of art Deco and the world's first minivan, the winner among the machines of production of the 1930s.

In addition to the main participants of the Concours of Elegance, and about 1000 other classic and unique cars for the weekend parked on the lawns of Hampton Court Palace, including a collection of Future Classics

which was topped by a car, who eventually won in this class – the Aston Martin Vulcan. Also in the competition participated a rare RUF CTR and one of the hundreds of Bentley Mulsanne WO Edition. Meanwhile, at the exhibition of Harry's Garage brought together the best supercars of the 90-ies, including the Pagani Zonda C12 S, Lamborghini Diablo and Bugatti EB110SS.

Club Aston Martin owners gathered the world's first exhibition of unique cars Aston Martin Zagato released in over a century, together with the Italian bodywork Studio Zagato – 17 outstanding cars lined up in a row, demonstrating the evolution of one of the greatest creative partnerships in the world of cars.

Also at the exhibition were presented the best examples of the most prestigious car clubs in the UK, which were part of The Club Trophy by the Royal automobile club (Royal Automobile Club) with the support of the magazine Classic and Sports Car. The expert panel of judges including His Royal Highness Prince Michael of Kent and editor of Classic and Sports Car Alastair Clements, considered the best exhibit of this year the Vauxhall 30-98.

Vauxhall 30-98 – contender for the win in the Main Concours 2020

The veteran, who was almost 100 years old, there were only three early owner, and then it belonged to an Argentine breeder, who purchased it from Harrods in Buenos Aires. This Vauxhall will now compete in the Main Concours at Hampton Court Palace next year.

More than 50 historic Jaguar models were exhibited on Saturday, competing for the prize, The Bridge of Weir Jaguar Trophy. The jury, headed by Nigel Woodward of Classic Motor Cars by an overwhelming majority decided that the most desirable machine has been perfectly restored and very original in design C-Type. This particular car has played a prominent role in the legendary racing heritage of Jaguar, speaking at the Monaco Grand Prix of 1952, where it was driven by Tommy wisdom attacks, and then a big part of the racing season of that year, it was piloted by the famous Stirling moss.

   over the weekend the magazine Octane Magazine also voted visitors for his beloved car. The winner here went definitely wonderful Bugatti Type 57. This car with chassis No. 57159, was originally equipped with a practical sedan from James young, but over the past few years were in such poor condition that it was eventually decided to recreate his frame of another body type – an exact copy of bright convertible.
