Interactive FESTIVAL OF MOTORING SOCHI 2019 will be held in July

On the Circuit of Sochi in the summer of 2019 will be held in the Russian Goodwood

Festival of Motoring is an interactive alternative to the traditional dealership.

Accordingly, the visitors of the Festival, which will be held at the Sochi Autodrome with the full support of administration of Krasnodar region and Sochi city July 18-21, 2019, will be able within four days not only look at the latest achievements and novelties of the automotive industry, but also to become directly involved in the event.

At the presentation of the interactive Festival of Motoring Sochi 2019, held today, was attended by:
Vice-President of the direction "Transport and logistics", Messe Frankfurt GmbH Michael Johannes with the presentation of "FESTIVAL OF MOTORING AS the NEW EVENT FORMAT"; the managing Director of international projects, Kinrara, Goodwood William Morrison shared his experience on "CAR festival event: the GOODWOOD EXPERIENCE"; Director General of the Association of European businesses Dr. Frank Schauff the report "AUTOMOTIVE FESTIVAL: a way FORWARD"; the General Director of Messe Frankfurt RUS Eugen Alles presented the "SOCHI FESTIVAL OF MOTORING 2019".

The presentation was hosted by renowned automotive journalist Igor Morzharetto, which, incidentally, noted that this interactive format automotive festivals for today the most demanded in the world, for example, the organizers of the Festival in the English Goodwood (Goodwood Festival of Speed and Goodwood Revival have been held for 25 years and grew up during this time in a world-class event), which this year was visited by over 70 thousand people, so the organizers had to limit the number of participants.

In Russia, this interactive automotive festivals have not yet been. In Sochi, by the way, according to Michael Johannes in Johannesburg, a similar Festival attracted up to 50 thousand visitors, and in Sochi, are also expected to not less than 50 thousand visitors, which attracted Messe Frankfurt RUS to the project of holding such an event in the South of Russia. In turn, William Morrison noted that Sochi is a fantastic venue for this spectacular Festival. Dr. Frank Schauff said that now the world's changing approach to car show, a traditional car dealers cease to be popular among the public and the future just for such interactive events like the festival in Sochi and he hopes that the next "Festival of motoring" will be on top of the situation in the future will become popular and regular in Russia.

The representative of the company Porsche was greeted (in his video presentation) the organization of the Festival in Sochi and expressed the hope that such measures will allow the Russian fans of powerful and fast cars to get better acquainted with the history and present of motor racing in General and the Porsche brand in particular.

Festival of Motoring Sochi will be held at the sporting centre of Sochi, in the Olympic Park at the Sochi Autodrom most modern race track in Eastern Europe, the only circuit to host the Grand Prix of Russia Formula 1. This will allow visitors to gain invaluable experience of driving on one of the most technologically advanced autotrekas Europe. The festival will be interesting and a wider range of visitors: car enthusiasts, car collectors, owners of family cars, the owners of luxury cars, fans of off-road vehicles, and professional drivers and drivers-Amateurs.

  Space of the Festival will be thematically divided into 3 major zones:
• Exposure with new brands and classics of world automotive industry, supercars and iconic designs in the history of Motorsport, retail village;
• Driver's experience will provide the track for a test drive fast cars, the track for the 4x4 Offroad world, the Race-taxi will allow to pass to the lucky winners on the racetrack almost in combat mode with an experienced pilot behind the wheel, as well as additional
area automakers;
• Special areas will include: children's Park, music stage, games Area SIM Racing, the area of extreme sports and of course food courts.

All the new market leaders will focus on the same site in the paddock of Sochi Autodrom, where will be located the zone of the automakers, and all the Festival visitors will be able to see the model range and novelties, sign up for test drives, as well as the flight taxi.

Area of self-driving will be a temporary route for the test drive, laid on the territory of the Olympic Park, where visitors will be able to evaluate and compare the ride quality of the cars presented at the Festival.

Several routes for extreme off-road will be equipped on the test track Offroad world, which will feature in the Olympic Park and is a system of metal terrapod and obstacles made from natural materials that mimic off-road obstacles for four-wheel drive.

A breathtaking ride on the track F1 will be available with the RACE TAXI (or "taxi racing") – it would be quick laps on the race track in the passenger seat of the vehicle speed under the control of a professional pilot. The cars and pilots Race Taxi will be provided by automobile manufacturers participating in the festival.

Among the entertainment areas of the festival, one of the key places is the area of eSports where everyone can try their hand at intramural uncompromising struggle on the virtual track Sochi Autodrom. This area will be open for everyone during the whole period of the Festival.
In addition, the audience can hear the real race popular national and world series. Racing heats will be held on Saturday and Sunday, and preceded their qualifying races on Friday.

Action Sports Arena (ASA) will bring together in one place three popular disciplines in modern extreme Motorsport: motocross, freestyle, stunt riding and gymkhana.


The Museum part of the Festival of Motoring will be presented in three thematic areas: in the FoM Motor Museum will be presented to cars manufactured prior to 1989 and antimony (until year 2004).

Addition to the Museum will be open to the "historical" Parking for private owners of classic cars arriving at the Festival.

At the exhibition of racing vehicles and super cars (Race Cars & Super Cars Display) will be presented to the fastest cars and
the cars participating winners of the popular series.

For the best time for visitors to the Festival will be created by a spectator infrastructure provides all conditions for a comfortable family holiday.

Children's area with educational and entertainment activities and a food court with a focus on regional cuisine are located in the Olympic Park.
