The already traditional celebration of automotive elegance, style and passion for cars since 2012, will be held this time from 6 to 8 September 2019 at HAMPTON court and gather for the competition, more than 60 of the most rare and exclusive cars ever participating in such contests. Although the epicenter of attention at the Concours of Elegance this year will definitely be given competitive exposure, there are also a total of you will find almost 1000 rare and exotic cars from the world's leading automuseum and private collections.

The main line Concours of Elegance will be a visual substantive story about the history of the car from the cult cars issue until 1914 to exclusive versions of production sports cars and supercars of the 21st century, and on each competitor's Concours of Elegance has its wonderful story.

For demonstration in the garden fountains of the Palace of HAMPTON court Concours of Elegance organizers have selected a few particularly charismatic car, in particular:

Delage D8-120 Cabriolet 1937
The car is certainly unique history, this Delage was the hero of one of the most spectacular Hollywood musicals "an American in Paris" in which glamorous moved Gene Kelly in the "City of Light". How he got the role? In June 1939, he was taken by the famous kosovorotka Henri Chapron to a customer in Paris, but during the Second world war, he was awarded a French General of the collaborationist Vichy government. In 1946, the General-the traitor sent the car to California, expecting to follow her myself, but the US state Department refused he is an American entry visa, so he was emigriroval in Argentina, and unique machine sold the film Studio RKO. In Hollywood the exotic and noble outlines of the machine brought her a few roles in films, including "you have to let that with astraslim day" 1950 with James Cagney in the title role. The producers of the musical of 1951, based on the pre-war symphonic poem, George Gershwin's "American in Paris" was asked to make several changes to the design of the car, including to change the rear lights and do a two-tone green color, so when the machine was returned for filming in France, cosmetic surgery kindly looked after himself Monsieur Chapron.

Delahaye 175S Grand Luxe Dandy Convertible 1948
The same outstanding kosovaschool Henri Chapron called the style of the body of this exquisite four-seater convertible "Le Dandy" (dandy), and he is, without doubt, knew about the severe poet Baudelaire the view that "dandyism" implies the cultivation of the idea of narcissism and selfishness, pursuing their own passions without regard to boring egalitarian bourgeois values of the middle class (to which nevertheless all belong to the dandy, only imitating a true aristocracy – ed.), and denies any principles of equality. The result is an exceptionally rare car (cars with bodies of this type were built only about 50 out of 175, with a body of all styles) with, no doubt, exceptional art style and charisma that was famous French stylists. Two-tone paint expressive and emphasizes the dynamism of the machine, and blue theme interior trim continues on the steering wheel, dashboard, seats, carpets and door panels. In the face of "Le Dandy" Chapron created the car which can be represented by different characters: when it is raining or too cold, or someone doesn't want to be seen, its body can be completely closed; it can be a coupe Deville with open over the driver front part of the roof and a closed back for those who want to avoid third-party views of the passenger, or, on the contrary, it can be a completely open convertible.

Touring Superleggera Cabriolet Sciàdipersia 2019
It is expected that this ultraexclusive model, a kind of "Orient Express" for travel without rails, will be built only in the amount of 15 units, and its appearance inspired in 1958 directly by the Shah of Iran. Who came to power in 1953, the Shah Reza Pahlavi, was an enthusiastic collector of fast and luxurious cars, buying up super-expensive Ferrari, Lamborghini, Bizzarrini, and Maserati. In 1958, he asked the company Maserati to build for him a custom made quieter version of the 3500GT chassis with motor racing 450S. He instructed the design Studio Touring Superleggera to design the body for a very extravagant supercar, in which he could demonstrate his Royal status. This novel model, called'scià di Persia (an Italian Shah of Iran), was the source of inspiration for the current model Sciàdipersia. Another key message was the desire to break the current trend of aggressive brutality of sportscar design. Modern Sciàdipersia is designed to be slim, elegant and restrained, with a classic (and therefore durable) exterior, which also dates back to the best examples from the 1960s and 1970s. For this purpose it has a low silhouette, the minimalist design of the front end, clean lines of the sidewalls and impressive tailgate.
