Gasoline finally fell

The increase in fuel prices continues to be one of the main topics for public discussion. The people of Russia did not adapt to the new level of cost of fuel after the may jump. To overcome this negative trend, the State Duma Committee on energy, even Rasil from 1 June to temporarily reduce the excise tax on gasoline and diesel fuel. Lately refuelling change the signs on the price tags is not with such speed, so that the degree of public debate declined slightly. And now the assistant finally happy with all the positive news that gasoline finally fell!

However, on the return to the old prices we can only dream of. "Rollback" was very modest: according to the analytical Agency Thomson Reuters Kortes (his study refers TASS), for the period from 30 July to 3 August average retail price for gasoline AI-92 and AI-95 decreased by 12 cents and 3 pennies, respectively.

As a result, now these grades of fuel are 41,54 and 44,44 rubles per liter. The most significant decrease was recorded in the Volga Federal district: there AI-92 petrol has become cheaper at once on 21 kopecks. AI-95 shows a less pronounced trend, even in the Central Federal district, where it was observed the significant reduction in price, retail took off only 4 cents.

Experts Thomson Reuters Kortes noted that retail prices followed the exchange rate. Thus, the cost of gasoline AI-92 decreased by 262 rubles per ton (44 to 237 rubles per ton), AI-95 — 146 rubles (up to 45 957 rubles per ton).
