The head of the sports division of Jaguar SVO Michael van der Sande said in an interview with British publication Autocar that the charged version of electrocreaser I-Pace definitely ready, but also acknowledged that the timing of its market launch as a formal business plan has not yet been determined. Yet SVO is a priority for the release of more popular models.

The SVO office is already developing and producing racing versions of the Jaguar I-Pace eTrophy that race support championship Formula E. van der Sande said: "these vehicles arrive with our company on Oxford road and they taught us a lot. By the time when we install the rollcage and racing kit of equipment, they become a little easier standard. However, the duty cycle of the battery in the races is very different. We have learned a lot about managing batteries, control of the heating and the development of software that can be useful for road cars. When you receive an order – we will be ready".
Electric racing car eTrophy produces no more power than road I-Pace. Most of the changes centered in the chassis. But if you will be given the green light, it is likely that SVO will try to increase the capacity of the existing car to 395 HP to significantly reduce the time of acceleration to 100 km/h with a current of 4.8 s.

Such modernization would I-Pace SVR the best momentum to bypass the tuning charged version of Tesla Performance. Along with a modified chassis and tulinova sports style, this would also increase the attractiveness of the version of I-Pace SVR for enthusiasts "trains", which already begin to understand that they are not satisfied with the current standard offer electric crossovers.

The decision to run a version of SVR will depend on the results of sales basic I-Paceespecially from the preferences of the more expensive options for interior trim. Meantime, Jaguar has supplied worldwide in the first half of this year, more than 9,000 electrocreaser.

Van der Sande believes that the rate of electrification will be the main task of Jaguar Land Rover over the next five years. He said he was "absolutely confident" in the combination used by the office of power technologies, starting with hybrid versions of the Range Rover Autobiography SV, equipped with the current turbocharged V8.
He said, "Our most luxurious Range Rover with extended wheelbase is often used in urban environments and sold at markets, where the owner rides in the back fundamentally. So this concept makes a lot of sense". Office SVO built or modified in 2018, about 6000 vehicles, he added.
