Porsche Taikang in 2020 will be in the 4S

Porsche presented the "budget" version electrospray Porsche Taycan 4S, 2020 at a price of $103 000

Just six weeks after the debut of the first in the history of the brand Porsche electric supercar Taycan Turbo and Turbo S
which are the main serial premieres IAA’19 (along with the new range Rover Defender and VW ID.3 – ed.) the collection was expanded "budget" version of Taycan 4S, 2020 model year.

Most affordable Taycan kept the overall vehicle more hardcore versions, Turbo and Turbo S with two electric motors (synchronous though the rear is more compact) and a two-stage gearbox, as well as 800-volt charging electronics that ensure the real battery charge to 80% in just 22.5 minutes (test result version PBP of one of the motoring journalists – ed.).

Basic version Taycan 4S includes a Li-ion battery capacity of 79,2 kWh, however, in the form of Performance options Battery Plus (PBP), you can order the same battery with a capacity of 93.4 kWh and top versions Turbo and Turbo S. the base battery provides the electric motors with a total peak power of 390 kW (530 HP), while the more capacious and large battery allows them to develop a maximum power of 420 kW (571 HP).

Regardless of the version of the battery Taycan 4S has a top speed of 250 km/h (limited) and accelerates to 100 km/h in 4,0 s. by the Way, the basic version of the Tesla Model S develops the same 250 km/h, but accelerates to a hundred in 3.7 seconds.

But from the version selected depends on the battery maximum charging power, which is 225 kW from the basic version and 270 kW at version PBP. Different turns and mileage on a single charge of modern cycle WLTP course, respectively, 407 km and 463 km.

4S will be available the same three-chamber air suspension with adaptive shock absorbers, but the brakes instead of expensive carbon-ceramic discs will receive ordinary cast-iron (360mm / 358 mm front /rear).

However, according to preliminary information, Taycan optional 4S will still be available with sportier suspension, and the Turbo version and Turbo S.
However, even basic Taycan 4S will cost at least $103 800 (~₽6.7 million), and Battery Performance Plus will add another $6580 (~₽423 thousand). While the price tag on its direct competitor Tesla Model S starts with a Long ₽990 79 (~₽5.15 million), and the Model S Performance, respectively, with $99 990 (~6.4 million).

Dealers Porsche 4S Taycan 2020 model year will appear in the spring of next year.
