The Nissan LEAF excels in the steppes of Ukraine

The Ukrainian market of electric vehicles is growing rapidly in early 2018

According to the marketing Agency IRS Group registration of electric vehicles on the Ukrainian market for 4 months from the beginning of 2018 increased by 65% over the same period the previous year.



At the beginning of may of 2018, the total fleet of electric cars just a month increased by 7% to 7439 units in April were registered 461 electric car, which is 9.5% more compared to March.



The average age of these electric cars amounted to a little less than four years. The average age of Ukrainian electric Park is 4.4 years, and 4-and 5-year-old cars make up 66%, up to 3 years – 24%, and older than 6 years is just 6%.



The largest increase in registrations among the regions in the period from January to April compared to the same period last year was observed in Ternopil oblast, where there was a jump in 7.7 times, but the largest drop for the same period was observed in the Kharkiv region, where it amounted to 30%.





  the Most popular electric car model remains the Nissan LEAF, which showed a growth of 76% and virtually monopolize the market. Thus, the share of the other models (Tesla Model S, BMW i3 and Ford e-Focus) did not exceed 3%.
