Walk to everything: sponsor tonight is the Volkswagen
Beginning in 2015, the environmental scandal associated with emissions of diesel cars are Volkswagen, the media got the name "Deselect" (the analogy with "Watergate", when in the 70's became aware of the real intentions of the American President Richard Nixon). The case seemed frivolous, but the German manufacturer thoroughly battered. The Americans had fined Volkswagen for a tidy sum, and now I know where to send these "easy money". It is reported "German wave" with reference to the Welt am Sonntag newspaper.
The group has already paid America $2.9 billion. All of them credited to the account environmental Fund Volkswagen Diesel Emissions Environmental Mitigation Trust. As reported by the U.S. Department of energy, now the money will be distributed among the States. Each of them will receive from $8 to $423 million. 22 States have already offered the plans for their use, another 20 had prepared the draft plans.
The maximum amount (almost $423 million) relies California. It is considered to be the most innovative state, also is record high popularity of electric vehicles and hybrids. It is assumed that money will make cleaner vehicles in industrial enterprises and railway stations cargo handling.
Some other States are going to buy electricity shuttles for airport, electric school buses or garbage trucks.
A good way to upgrade Park of commercial vehicles due to the German company? Thus the above mentioned $2.9 billion are only the tip of the iceberg. In total, Volkswagen expects to pay to the Americas alone, more than $20 billion, but claims the manufacturer placing and other countries.
