Mercedes EQC began to roll off the production line

The first production electric car by Mercedes-Benz EQC came down the Assembly line in Bremen

Just at the Daimler AG plant in the German Bremen launched into serial production the electric model EQC.


It will be produced in parallel with the conventional sedan and wagon C-class, as well as models of GLC and GLC Coure.

Later this year production of electrocreaser EQC will be launched in China in partnership with BAIC JV, Beijing Benz Automotive Co. Ltd. (BBAC).

Thus, the iconic brand Merdeces-Benz joins the emerging premium segment of electrocreaser Tesla Model X, the Audi e-tron and Jaguar I-PACE.

The prices of the EQC in Germany (including 19% VAT) starts at €71 281 and the price exclusive series "EQC 1886" will begin with ₽84 930... and 30 cents.

In a press release the Mercedes-Benz range specified reserve to the already existent test cycle NEDC: 445-471 km (277-293 miles)

 Perhaps the documents WLTP cycle are not yet ready or the German manufacturer is unhappy with the result of certified tests.

Battery with a capacity of 80 kWh are collected by the Deutsche Accumobil at its plant in Kamenz (near Dresden) with use of elements of production LG Chem.
