Yandex brought the first test the drones on Moscow roads

"Yandex" has begun testing the first of five drones on the capital's roads

The first five unmanned vehicles fourth level of autonomy of the project "Yandex" took to the streets of Moscow. Until the end of 2019 "Yandex" intends to test on the roads of Moscow and other test territories for more than 100 drones.

Current drones "Yandex" as the base use a hybrid Toyota Prius as the most advanced automation model.

 the Drones of "Yandex" equipped with front and rear a radar, 3 lidars, 5 video cameras and GNSS and GSM with 4 antennas.

PS the Drones of the 4th generation can go fully Autonomous, but in complex cases, for example, if the strip is busy "emergency" parked car, and pass it only through a double continuous dividing line, i.e. violation of the rules – a requirement for control by the operator. Most slozhnye cases, as well as issues of cooperation between UAVs practiced on a special track of the US training ground.
In any case, Muscovites have to get used to the flow of cars with a triangular znakom with the letter "A" just denoting the movement of the machine in unmanned.
