"Yandex" has started to experience robotaxi in Innopolis

"Yandex.Taxi" not the first year developing a system for auto-pilot for cars. The company has long gone beyond the lab. So, in the beginning of 2018 it ispytala unmanned machine in snow conditions and in summer the drone of "Yandex" dobralsa from Moscow to Kazan. Now the Russian IT-giant had become to offer service unmanned taxi in Innopolis.

According to "Yandex", Innopolis is the first city in Europe with the service unmanned taxi. The agreement to establish a test area for unmanned taxi that will be free on Tuesday, was signed by President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and General Director of "Yandex" in Russia Elena Bunin.

At this point in Innopolis there are five points of embarkation and disembarkation of passengers: a University, a stadium, a medical centre, residential area "Zion" and the administrative and business centre of a name of Popova. Ride on the innovative taxi any residents. The one restriction: they must be at least 18 years of age.
