At the current moment there is no doubt that in a few years the automotive market will occur a revolution in 2020 or 2021 will go on sale the first cars with full autopilot. While you can only build assumptions about how they will change the market, but now there is no doubt that everything will be different. Meanwhile, the Russian venture company (RVC), in collaboration with the consulting company Frost & Sullivan has prepared a study that draws a very optimistic forecast: by 2025 about 40% of all produced in the world cars will be in drones.

If today the market of unmanned vehicles is estimated at $1.3 billion, after seven years it will increase to $84 billion. While sales reached 36 million cars. But the money will go not all. Experts expect that the market will remain three or four major players.

In this case, the market of "smart" machines will be able to earn companies that develop the related ecosystems that enable vehicles independently to learn. Today this involved many companies from the it sector, including IBM, Intel, Cisco, Google, Amazon and Nokia.

If we talk about car brands, the market leaders can become a Tesla, Mercedes-Benz, Audi, BMW, Ford, Toyota, Volkswagen and Volvo.

The report says that the development of industry in Russia will depend on a number of factors: "first, as in other countries, for widespread use of such vehicles in Russia, should the relevant legislation, which would permit Autonomous vehicles to become full participants in road traffic on public roads. Second, the large role played by road infrastructure and uninterrupted operation of positioning systems, without which Autonomous vehicles are unable to respond adequately to changing road conditions".
