Today is 21 June 2019 JSC "AVTOVAZ" and the Fund "SKOLKOVO" signed an agreement of intent in support of partners for future cooperation and exchange of experience on development of innovative start-UPS, including the development of appropriate competencies and resources. According to the document in "SKOLKOVO" can be opened to the partner center of AVTOVAZ.
The agreement was signed by Executive Vice President of engineering of JSC "AVTOVAZ" Selcuk Cura and development Director of the energy efficient technologies Cluster, SKOLKOVO Foundation Mikhail Tykocinski. The event was also attended by senior Vice-President, Chairman of the region "Eurasia" Renault Groupe and Chairman of the Board of Directors of JSC "AVTOVAZ" Nicolas Moore and the President of JSC "AVTOVAZ" IV Karakatsanis.
Commenting on the signing of the agreement, Nicola Moore said: "Our cooperation aims to benefit from the initiatives and innovations of the SKOLKOVO Foundation, and experience and expertise of service engineering of AVTOVAZ and Renault. I am sure that the results of this synergy will be effective and will have a positive impact on our customers, technology of LADA cars and Renault, as well as our engineering team in Russia."
Michael Tykocinski in turn, stressed: "we Have more than 400 technologies that AVTOVAZ may apply for both product and production areas of its activities. We hope that cooperation with Russian small innovative companies and partnerships with them will enable AVTOVAZ to improve the level of localization of production."
PS Domestic automakers (think LADA and UAZ) are far behind the world's leading manufacturers in the field of introduction on their cars various gadgets. On the same issue, complain and foreign producers are forced to increase within Spiked the share of localization in Russia, but "in the absence" of local producers it is "high electronics", from ABS to assistants ADAS have to be limited in the best case the production of engines, and then localizing only the most metal-intensive (not expensive, i.e., electronic) components. So, what SKOLKOVO is beginning together with AVTOVAZ, I would like to think, will help to radically transform the face of the domestic automobile industry as a whole.
