At the Nissan plant near St. Petersburg today was the start of production of the updated generation of crossover Nissan Quashqai (J11). Last year this model was the most popular in the product line of the Japanese brand and sold in the amount of 22 626 units (according to the "AUTOSTAT info"), which is 20.6% more than the year before. It accounted for 28.9 per cent of total registrations of cars of Japanese brand. Sales of the new Qashqai in our country will begin in a few months, and on 7 February was the start of its production at the Nissan plant in St. Petersburg.

According to the press service of the Japanese manufacturer, in the framework of a global strategy of Nissan Intelligent Mobility for the new Qashqai proposed several big updates in the exterior, interior and configuration. So, the crossover has a system smart stop in front of the obstacle, Forward Emergency Braking (FEB), helps the driver to avoid a collision with a moving car in front of him, and the object detection system when reversing (RCTA).

Also for Nissan Qashqai MY2019 the proposed advanced multimedia system Yandex.Auto installed at the factory.

In addition, the crossover is even better adapted to local harsh winters, which were greatly improved insulation, and the suspension retuned for more comfort.

Since October last year on the same conveyor of the Petersburg factory of Nissan falls is another popular model of Nissan's new generation X-Trail (22 513 units and +19,1% in 2018).
