In place of the former model shop ZIL opened a new Technical center Mercedеs-Benz

Automotive group "AVILON" opened a new dealer center "Mercedes-Benz Avilon Legend" on the historical territory of the ZIL.

The investments of the project amounted to 3 billion rubles, while the planned payback period – 4-5 years. The center will engage in the sale of new cars and light-duty vehicles of the brand Mercedеs-Benz, Mercedes-Benz CERTIFIED and used cars of other brands, as well as to provide a full range of service and related services.

One day through the service, with 22 of the post for maintenance, it can take up to 60 cars. The plans provide for the implementation of more than 2.5 thousand cars a year.

At a press conference on the occasion of the opening of the Centre on 14 March 2019, the Chairman of automobile group "AVILON" Andrey Pavlovich said: "Today we open a new center for "Mercedes-Benz Avilon Legend", which affects not only architecture, but also features for the customers of the brand. The company "AVILON" it was important to preserve the unique atmosphere of the place, to show the continuity of generations and focus on the future. For us it is a special project: we are proud that Russia implemented visible in global scale projects in the field of automotive retail. Today, the share of the company "AVILON" was a record 15.9 per cent in sales of Mercedes-Benz cars in Moscow at the end of 2018. New flagship centre "Mercedes-Benz Avilon Legend" will let us significantly strengthen our leadership."

Dealer center "Mercedes-Benz Avilon Legend" located in the legendary for fans of automotive history place – in the model shop ZIL, where he designed and developed a new production model of the domestic auto giant. In the drafting of complex high-tech rehabilitation participated the architectural Bureau of the company "AVILON", the Bureau Merz&Merz Architekten and Kleinewelt.








Architect and partner at the firm Kleinewelt Architekten, one of the authors of the project Sergey Pereslegin said: "an international team of experts before starting work for six months studied the drawings. In the design before us sharply there was a question of creating concepts that meet the strict requirements of the brand". According to him, the work was carried out according to the latest trends of architectural art while preserving the facades of the building style and aesthetics of the late constructivism of the 1930-ies.

 
The original architectural volume of the building has been augmented space with panoramic Windows to achieve a unique effect: see penetrating the building structure formed from truncated cones, which form in the interior of the centers of attraction of attention of the visitors center.

The effect was achieved by using the largest in the Russian construction glass panels – 3 to 6 meters. Due to the selected proportions and lack of excessive detail how a combination of historical fullness of the idea of the building, with its futuristic internal processes. In the design and construction of the building was solved complex logistical problems of service vehicles and guests of the building, which will allow the centre to become a benchmark of efficiency.
