Moscow gas processing plant, owned by "Gazprom gas fuel", opened on its territory (the interchange of the MKAD and Kashirsky highway) the first in the capital, fueling liquefied natural gas (LNG or write abroad LNG) cellular complex (triblock).

The installation serves the Park "Car company – Mostrans", based in Podolsk, near Moscow. The company updates its fleet purchased 25 tractors IVECO Stralis. The tractor is equipped with a cryogenic tank with a capacity of 200 l, so that given cylinder for CNG (compressed methane) total reserve up to 900-1000 km. Refueling with liquefied methane is ~20 min.

And this is only the first stage of gasification of fleet transport company, which intends to increase its total fleet to natural gas up to 125 units, which will serve to container transportation in Moscow and Moscow region.

Mobile complex (krealloc) is a small installation that combines the liquefaction unit and module for vehicle refueling. All equipment is placed in a 45-foot container, performance of the complex – 600 kg of LNG per hour. Thus, triblock, at the hour of three cars, and a day about 70 motor vehicles. Today the cost of a cubic meter (liter) CNG is ₽of 25.5.

Help: liquefied natural gas (LNG) is currently one of the fastest growing sectors of the global energy market. According to specialists ' forecasts, by 2020, LNG supplies will increase almost twice and will reach about 45% of international natural gas trade. Worldwide production and use of LNG has been rapidly increasing during the last three decades, and to date, its share in total gas consumption by developed countries, for example, in Japan reaches 75%, and the US – 25%. LNG is actively used abroad as a motor fuel for internal combustion engines of automobiles, sea and river vessels, locomotives and helicopters. According to the company "Gazprom gas fuel" the greatest experience in the application of LNG available in the USA, where currently, the liquefied methane is transferred 25% of municipal vehicles, 600 mining trucks as well as buses, marine and river vessels, locomotives and other vehicles. Work on the implementation of this promising type of fuel takes place in Russia, for which it LNG, experts recognized the most promising, at least for the next 25-35 years.

Liquefied natural gas production is the process of transfer of natural gas in a liquid state at a temperature below the critical. Natural gas consists mostly of methane having a low boiling point therefore it sirenne condition requires a relatively large energy consumption required when using cryogenic technology. In the liquefaction process natural gas is being prepared ( typically, absorption cleaning and drying), cooling, condensation and cooling of the condensed liquid to the boiling temperature, throttling and accumulation in the system storage of finished products (see diagram).

The transportation of LNG from receiving terminals and plants for producing liquefied natural gas is carried by sea, rail and road transport using standard (ISO) tank containers, specialized tanks and cryogenic trailers.
The most widespread recently received 20 - and 40-foot tank containers are optimally suited for multimodal transport.
The use of cryogenic semi-trailers with vacuum-perlite, polyurethane, multi-layered and combined insulation capacity of up to 54 000 liters of liquefied natural gas allows to create a flexible and elastic system of delivery of LNG to the consumer.
