A one-volume subcompact hatchback Tata Nano class A1 according to Indian classification, and a rear engine, in the form of a pre-production prototype made its debut at the motor show in new Delhi in early 2008 and has just blown away not only by the local media (and understandably so – the fact that weak overall Indian automobile industry has generated a worldwide sensation is unique and has caused dizziness from success), but also occurred in the media around the world.

The head of the concern Tata Motors, will present at the auto show in new Delhi'08 little micro-car Nano in front of Indian media, just dazed from windfall of supersensible – the world's cheapest car for just $2500!

The reason the Indians did de cheapest car in the world at a price of $2500 (100,000 rupees at the time)!

First Tata Nano rolls off the Assembly line plant in Senanga under Mumbai in March 2009, but at a price of $2800

But, more-more – the first batch of cars of small Nano (the first machine was, incidentally, drawn in the lottery) began elementary spontaneous combustion – wiring was too weak for the additional consumers (designers also squeezed from the cost of each chart), so when connecting a retrofitted car radio machine often started to burn a clear (rather smoky) fire. The problem, of course, eliminated by the replacement of the transaction and revocable program, of course, with some appreciation of the car, but the shadow on the whole project went to leave.

The first commodity cars Tata Nano began to blaze directly away from dealers (note – the photo on the front of the car hangs a solemn wreath-the initial purchaser)

The plant is designed to produce only 15-20 thousand
